About the role

We are recruiting registered Nurses (RGN, RMN and RNLD) to join a Functional Assessor team delivering Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments in Aylesbury.

This is a non-clinical role where you will use your clinical knowledge to assess how a person’s health condition or disability affects their daily living.

Main duties

Carry out structured functional assessments

Conduct assessments by telephone, video or face-to-face

Review medical evidence and supporting information

Produce clear and accurate written reports

Use IT systems to complete assessment reports

All assessments are pre-booked.

Working pattern

Monday to Friday

No nights, weekends or shift work

Hybrid working – a mixture of home-based and office-based work

Requirements

NMC registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD)

Minimum 12 months post-registration clinical experience

Recent experience working with adults

Good written communication skills

Able to use IT systems confidently

Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Pay and benefits

£39,500 salary (pro rata for part-time roles)
