About the post
This position is an excellent opportunity for an outstanding and inspirational Teacher of Business to join our exceptional team. The post will involve teaching KS4 teaching only.
This post would ideally suit a colleague who is looking for a new challenge and wishes to work with highly motivated, extremely engaged, enthusiastic and able learners. The team
The Business department currently consists of two full time and one part time member of staff. There is a supportive and collaborative ethos within the department, and we are always open to new ideas. We regularly reflect on our delivery to ensure our students gain the best experience and aim to enthuse creative problem solving. Weald of Kent students are driven, inquisitive and committed to learning. This department is proud of its excellent student outcomes and the hard work that has gone into achieving these outstanding results.
Business is a very popular GCSE and A Level option. At GCSE, we offer Edexcel Business, with five groups in each of our current Year 10 and Year 11 cohorts. At A Level, we deliver Edexcel Business with two classes subject in each of our current Year 12 and 13 cohorts.
In 2025, the average GCSE Business grade was a 7. 39% of grades were 8 or 9 and 63% achieved grade 7-9. At A Level, 74% achieved A*-B in Business, with 50% achieving A*-A.

As this role involves 'regulated activity' with children the successful applicant will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure application. Employment will be conditional upon the College being satisfied with the result of the Enhanced DBS check and the outcome of all other checks.
The School will also carry out a check of the Children's Barred List on the successful applicant.
