What skills and experience we're looking for
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
- Demonstrates high expectations for all pupils, both academically and behaviourally
- Has experience (or a strong commitment to) inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
- Is able to plan and deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
- Uses assessment effectively to inform teaching and support pupil progress
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
- Works well as part of a team and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school
- Is organised, reflective and committed to their own professional development
- Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
