Manual miller/turner

Duties

• Operate manual milling and turning machines to produce precise components according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Set up tooling and/or fixtures for each job.
• Conduct assembly of machined parts, ensuring proper fit and function.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Manual Miller/Turner or in a similar precision machining role.
• Mechanical knowledge of tooling, fixtures, and power tools used in machining operations.
• Ability to work accurately with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to machining environments.
