The team operates a standard Monday to Friday schedule. Flexible working options are available.
*This is a fixed term/secondment 12-month contract*
Managing strategic programmes (clinical service redesign, service repatriation, provider collaboration, etc).
Appraising, generating, interpreting strategic insights and developing strategic options.
Building relationships and cooperating with clinical and non-clinical teams.
Supporting, coaching and managing colleagues in other teams working on complex programmes.
Day-to-day programme delivery.
With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.

The post holder will work as part of dynamic team supporting and influencing the decision-making process at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The role helps the Trust deliver its long-term ambitions through management of major strategic programmes, integrate the strategic vision and approach into established processes, lead strategic programmes while working with our teams and partner organisations, and make tangible progress towards an improved health and care service. The post holder will work with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders both in the trust and externally. A great candidate should be able to operate effectively in a flexible, demanding and sometimes uncertain environment, as well as challenge existing views to foster productive debates on complex issues.
