Mechanic (Part-Time / Self-Employed Contractor)

We are looking for an experienced vehicle mechanic to work on a flexible, part-time basis (1–2 days per week) at our busy used car sales and workshop site in Stowmarket.

This is a self-employed / subcontractor role, ideal for someone looking to top up their existing workload or reduce full-time hours.

Duties include

* Servicing and general maintenance

* Diagnostics and fault finding

* MOT preparation and repairs

* Brake, suspension and engine work

* Occasional vehicle inspections

* Proven experience as a mechanic

* Ability to work independently

* Own tools preferred

* Reliable and professional

Pay

Competitive day rate / hourly rate (negotiable based on experience)

Flexible working

1–2 days per week (with potential for more)
