Cleaner for community building and sports changing rooms

The Parish Council requires someone to clean our community building and sports changing village.

Please email clerk@pitstone-pc.gov.uk to request the full details, schedule of duties and job specifications, but in summary the duties will include:

* To fully clean all areas of the interior of the pavilion, including the changing village, on scheduled days/times (predominantly a Monday morning for 4+ hours per week but this may vary depending on whether football has taken place & other hirers at the site)

* To clean the walkways, windows, shutters, touchpoints such as handrails etc around the outside of the pavilion.

* To litter pick the exterior of the pavilion including the pitches and car park.

* To monitor and refill the dispensers eg soap, toilet tissue etc

* To carry out periodic deep cleaning such as descaling shower heads

* To dispose of all rubbish into the on site wheelie bins

* To notify the Facilities Manager of any issues or any repair requirements identified

Is this right for you? We are looking for someone who ....

* The applicant will need to be a reasonably fit person, as cleaning the muddy changing rooms and corridors after football during the winter can be hard work.

* You must be able to adequately carry out the physical side of the duties eg scrubbing, lifting, bending, moving tables etc.

* You should have no medical conditions that may pose a threat to your safety when working alone on site.

* Flexibility to work extra hours / extra days an advantage, as the requirements change depending upon the hirers that have booked the facilities.

* Must be self-reliant and self-motivated.

* Must be honest, reliable and trustworthy.

* Experience of cleaning similar premises (rather than domestic homes) would be desirable.
