Warehouse Forklift Operator

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Forklift Driver Operative. You will play a vital role in managing the safe and efficient movement of stock within the warehouse.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm.

Key Responsibilities

Loading & Unloading

Using a Counterbalance Forklift to safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring all material is secured correctly and processed accurately. Assembling customer orders and completing the relevant paperwork.

Stock Management

Store stock correctly and ensure the yard remains organised, tidy, and safe.

Equipment Operation

Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT), using assisted lifts and equipment provided where applicable to move material around the site.

Manual Handling

Ability to carry out manual work in line with established manual handling procedures.

Maintenance & Safety

Keep all equipment in good working order, reporting any issues or faults immediately. Work strictly in accordance with all Works and Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Safety Awareness

A strong awareness of safe vehicle loading and Health & Safety procedures.

• The suitable candidate will hold a current Counterbalance Forklift licence. A Reach Forklift licence is desirable, however not essential.

This role would suit candidates who have worked as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver, Food Production.
