Asbestos Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship (Level 3) - Full Circle Compliance

About this role

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for an Asbestos Laboratory Technician to join the team, supporting the analysis of asbestos bulk samples, laboratory operations, and reporting processes to ensure accurate results, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service delivery in line with industry standards.

This role provides a strong foundation for a career in asbestos laboratory analysis and environmental safety, offering opportunities to develop technical expertise in sample testing, quality control procedures, and laboratory management within a structured and safety-focused environment.

Analysis of asbestos bulk samples in accordance with HSG 248, will be working towards gaining the RSPH.

Analysis of samples for asbestos content in accordance with contract KPI’s and/or priority status.

Ensure all relevant bulk certificate documentation is collated, prepared and issued in line with contract KPI’s.

To support the Laboratory Supervisors in the efficient and effective management of the laboratory, providing notification on stock levels and repairs/renewal are required, when applicable.

Maintain targets and KPI’s set by the Laboratory Supervisors and act on any urgent instructions received

Participate in all QC/UKAS procedures as required.

Communicate with other members of the team accordingly

Issue a regular update to inform all parties of sample quantities at each stage for weekly target

General communication/correspondence with clients

To undertake any necessary training and development.

Any other administrative duties as and when required.
